Lock with bracket

Our problem was that the lower handle pivot pin slipped out of handle and the pin was found in the bottom of the door.

And rivet holding small metal swivel was too loose and allowed small metal swivel to slip out of handle.

Our repair was to drill out the pivot pin hole and install a small head bolt and nut.

Using strong vice grips, squeeze loose rivet to peen it tighter.

Had to grind away one end of latch hold down bracket to fit over the new bolt head.
