Plumbing: Shower Waterflow Control

by Barry and Cindy 1997 U270 36′

Recently I made a comment on the forum about our shower flow control.

All changes are made to reduce shower water usage to extend our time between freshwater tank fill-ups and holding tank dumping.

1) Common kitchen sink sprayer hose is used in place of the original shower hose.

2) Sprayer handle automatically turns off when the handle is released.

3) The original Moen valve controls water temperature and turns off the water, but does not have any way to reduce water flow.

4) The dark gray handle is an add-on ball valve to reduce/control water flow.
